About me
My name is Andrea Ohlmeier. We live in beautiful Mecklenburg-West Pomerania near Ludwigslust, in a beautiful, spacious rural area.
From an early age I have been very connected to animals with my heart and soul. Whether fur or feathers, many animals have accompanied me in my life, from guinea pigs to horses, cats, birds and of course dogs, and they all have a place in my heart.
I have been actively involved in animal welfare for many years and have always found this to be a source of motivation and strength. A few years ago I set up a horse boarding stable for old, no longer rideable horses and horses with disabilities and managed it for many years.
I have had dogs since 1991, first a Newfoundland dog, then the wonderful long-haired shepherd Leska, in 2010 my first pug Karl-Heinz came into my life and in 2019 my first Silken Windsprite, the wonderful "Hippie".
In addition to the old German pug breed, which has existed for 12 years, a breed in which the pug is bred back to be more sporty, active and healthier, the desire to pursue another love for greyhounds grew. It took a few years, a lot of information and patience until my first affectionately called "quota nose" moved in with me.
Although these two breeds Pug and Silken Windsprite appear so completely different at first glance, they have one thing in common, they are very flatterers, heart dogs, ... you can't resist their positive energy.
